SK4YS project
European practices in the field of soft skills development through sport

Within the frameworks of the SK4YS project, the project partners collected and classified European practices in the field of soft skills development through sport-based programs.

Many of these interventions address the needs of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, especially those not in education, employment or training. After careful and thorough analysis, we classified these European practices into Sport Plus and Plus Sport categories.

The percieved best 10  interventions were selected "good practices" Project team members conducted interviews with coordinators, staff, and coaches in charge of running these initiatives and utilized their advice in the development of the SK4YS educational manual. It is important to note, that the mapping exercise is not representative, although the project team aimed to involve examples from various European countries.
