#IDSDP2020 | Giving youth a real say in sports
April 6 is an International Day for Sport for Development and Peace, declared by United Nations in 2013 and celebrated globally through a #WhiteCard campaign initiated by Peace and Sport.
On this day, people all over the World raise a White Card as a symbol of peace, and to highlight the transformative power of sport in making a positive social change.
This year we gathered our committee members, Young Delegates and friends to celebrate the International Day for Sport for Development and Peace together.
We raised the White Card to give youth a real say in sport.
Besides the annual White Card campaign, ENGSO Youth committee members have participated in several Peace and Sport events. Ivana was a speaker and led a workshop at the Peace and Sport Forum 2019 and our former Vice Chair Nevena participated in the Peace and Sport Regional Forum 2018 in Rhodes.
