First International Conference on International Sport Volunteerism
The First International Conference on International Sport Volunteerism will be organised by the Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University and will take place on 27 November 2019, in Paris, France.
The conference will be organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ funded EYVOL project and will be held at the Maison du Handball, Créteil, on 27 November 2019, from 09:00 to 13:00.

During the conference, EYVOL’s partners will share information on the results and good practices related to volunteering for social inclusion through sport. They will also discuss the development of the good practices in the field of recruitment, deployment and training of youth sport volunteers.
The event will include a debate on how to enhance opportunities that major sporting events or sport in general can offer to youth.
Any relevant stakeholder or individual is invited to participate.

Empowering Youth Volunteers Through Sport (EYVOL) is a transnational and multi-sectoral cooperation initiative co-funded by the European Commission within the Erasmus+ programme. It involves partners from the Olympic Movement, the United Nations, Academia and civil society, working together to develop and implement innovative educational methods to train youth volunteers on how to utilise sport to promote inter-cultural dialogue, peace and socio-economic development.
