The second edition of the ENGSO’s European Sport Platform took place on the 4-5 October 2019, and was hosted by OPES Italia and sponsored by the European Lotteries. ENGSO Youth had an active role in the event; our committee member Ivana Pranjic presented the importance of voluntarism.

»"Volunteers give their time for something they love. They are a contributing aspect of civil society. In this individualistic world, voluntarism breaks down barriers & creates collaborative spaces for people to share, enjoy and act collectively. It's a bonding mechanism, creates a sense of togetherness & empowers individual initiative through responsibility for community.Volunteers are superheroes.« - Ivana Pranjic, ENGSO Youth Committee member.

ENGSO Youth former chair Michael Leyendecker, now ENGSO Executive Committee member, spoke on youth leadership, in a session with ENGSO Honorary President, Birgitta Kervinen.
