ENGSO Youth presents its youth, sport and health initiatives at Erasmus+ Sport Info Day 2022

The online Erasmus+ Sport Info Day 2022, organised by the European Commission and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), was held on 31 January - 1 February 2022.

ENGSO Youth committee member Iva Glibo participated in the session entitled “Erasmus+ Programme Priorities”, and presented the activities we have been implementing in the field of youth, sport and health, including the latest Mindfulness Challenge which is held within the framework of the #HealthyLifestyle4All initiative.

The aim of the Erasmus+ Sport Info Day was to inform the sports community about the programme’s novelties, priorities and funding opportunities available in 2022.

Commissioner Mariya Gabriel opened the 2022 edition of the #SportInfoDay and highlighted that #ErasmusPlus acts as a bridge between grassroots and elite, and presents a key element in supporting the European sport, now and in the future.

Tomasz Frankowski, Member of the European Parliament, emphasised the importance of providing an equal budget to the sport sector, given the sport's health, social and economic benefits, and the new opportunities it opens.

Key takeaways from the Sport Info Day 2022:
