ENGSO Youth is joining project Sports Club for Health 2020-22

In February, our Committee member Lovisa participated in the kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ funded project Creating Mechanisms for Continuous Implementation of the Sports Club for Health Guidelines in the European Union (SCforH 2020-22).

The official launch took place in Zagreb, Croatia, on 7 February 2020.

SCforH is led by the University of Zagreb - Faculty of Kinesiology and includes 18 partner institutions and organisations from 13 countries, including ENGSO Youth.

The overarching aim of the project is to increase participation in sport and physical activity in the European Union by encouraging sports clubs and associations to implement Sport Clubs for Health principles in their activities.

This ongoing Europe-wide initiative was started in 2008 and has since received three consecutive grants from the European Union. It is one of the largest European initiatives in the area of sport and health.
