ENGSO Youth is hiring: Policy and Projects manager
ENGSO Youth is the independent youth body of the European Sports NGO (ENGSO). We focus on the youth sport-for-all sector in Europe and represent young Europeans under the age of 35 in sport in more than 30 countries. Since 2002, we have been at the forefront of youth sport advocacy at European level.
And now we are looking for a new Policy and Projects manager.

What is expected from an ENGSO Youth Policy and Projects manager?
ENGSO Youth internal work
Coordinate ENGSO Youth Operating Grant within Erasmus+ KA3 (Civil Society Cooperation Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA);
Coordinate ENGSO Youth Structural Grant (Council of Europe);
Plan and prepare ENGSO/ENGSO Youth events together with colleagues and partners specifically in regards to content and policy topics;
Support ENGSO/ENGSO Youth Communications officer in developing online content related to policy and projects.
Monitor and report on developments in various relevant EU policy fields (sport; youth & employment, equality, volunteering, etc.);
Representation in ENGSO EU Advisory Committee;
Representation in relevant events on behalf of ENGSO/ENGSO Youth;
Take part in a platform and discussion network related to Policy and Sport in Europe and beyond.
Coordination of projects
Overall coordination and overview of ENGSO Youth projects;
Lead new ENGSO Youth project applications and high-quality reporting together with colleagues and partners;
Coordination of annual ENGSO Youth Young Delegates meeting.
Qualifications and skills needed:
Excellent written and oral English;
Proven communication and negotiation skills, especially in international and culturally diverse environment;
Educational background in sport science, sport diplomacy, politics, international relations, European studies or other relevant field;
Knowledge of EU policies relevant to the field/an understanding of the EU policy landscape relevant to the field (sport; youth & employment, equality, volunteering, etc.)
Knowledge and ability of reading, analysing and producing policy documents;
Knowledge and Experience in international project management, especially funded by ERASMUS+, Council of Europe, other EU and international donors;
Well developed administrative and time management skills.
Please note that applicants should be based in Council of Europe countries.
Being based in Brussels could be considered as an asset.
