Take a chance and participate in the youth exchange of our www.sport4sd.com project co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
The exchange will gather 40 young people from three continents.
The one week long exchange is set to take place between May 9th and 15th 2022, in Dakar, Senegal, the host of the 2026 Youth Olympic Games, the first African country to ever organize an Olympic event!
Participants of the youth exchange will engage in activities based on the methodology of education through sport (ETS) which is a dynamically developing area of non-formal youth education. The main aim of the Youth Exchange is to raise awareness about the Sustainable Development goals (SDGs) 2030, explain how sport can contribute to reaching SDGs and to present the ScoreAll17 manual which was developed by ENGSO Youth and project partners.
During the Youth Exchange, participants will develop transferable skills and competences, while discovering new cultures through peer learning and sharing, reinforcing the importance of solidarity, equality, multiculturalism, team spirit, tolerance and fair play. The main activities include workshops, role-playing, debates and educational sport games.
All costs associated with travel, accommodation and meals will be covered by the SSD project!
