Call for good practices in the field of sport-based volunteering for social inclusion
“Empowering Youth Volunteers Through Sport (EYVOL)” is a transnational and multi-sectoral cooperation co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme, involving partners from the Olympic Movement, the United Nations, Academia and civil society, working together to develop and implement innovative educational methods to train youth volunteers on how to utilise sport to promote intercultural dialogue, peace and socio-economic development.
ENGSO Youth is committed to promote the values of peace, solidarity and mutual understanding through sport and we believe young people are the drivers of Sport for Development and Peace.
Within the framework of the EYVOL project ENGSO Youth will contribute to drafting the educational module and we’ll also develop policy recommendations in the field of sports volunteering and social development in order to raise young volunteers’ voice in front of decision makers of public institutions and sports organizations.
In order to develop these recommendations we need a strong evidence base of good practices. Presently, together with our project partners we are currently looking for good practice volunteering initiatives realized in the Mediterranean region.
Now, we are reaching out to You(th)!
If you are aware of any voluntary initiative fostering social inclusion, intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding through sport, please let us know via email (email@example.com) or via our social media channels: facebook, instagram, twitter and linkedin!
Let’s represent the voice of young volunteers together!
