ENGSO Youth participated at the 1st European Sport Platform
Budapest, 16-17 November 2018 - ENGSO Youth (EY) Chairman, Committee members, staff and two Young Delegates participated at the first European Sport Platform, hosted by ENGSO and the Hungarian Competitive Sport Federation.
ENGSO Youth actively contributed to the event, representing the voice of youth by sharing the viewpoints in various discussions and topics addressed at the conference.
Bence Garamvölgyi, EY Policy and Projects Manager and Dóra Faragó, EY Operations Manager, took part in the first working group meeting and joined the conference as host organizers through Hungarian Competitive Sports Federation.
Our Chairman Michael Leyendecker and ENGSO Youth Committee members Lovisa Broms and Erika Juhász participated at the conference accompanied by our Young Delegates Anna Édes and Simon Plasschaert.
The European Sport Platform was a great opportunity for ENGSO Youth to share experience in various fields of youth and sport, and collect important information delivered by international and local sport stakeholders, policymakers and academics, debating the future of sport clubs in Europe, esport, inclusion and public health.
The event also offered a chance to broaden ENGSO Youth network and connect with ENGSO and other sport stakeholders.

The first European Sport Platform was a two day conference, hosted by ENGSO and the Hungarian Competitive Sport Federation, and held in Budapest, Hungary. Among speakers were Peter Mattsson, Director of Sport at the Swedish Sports Confederation, Hans Jagnow, President of the German Esports Federation and other, addressing topics such as new vision for sports clubs, development of esports, modern sport clubs promoting inclusion and health, and more.
